At DeLeon Family Dental, your health and the health of our staff are of the utmost importance. Although the worldwide coronavirus pandemic has changed us forever, I will continue to place the safety of my patients and staff at the forefront of everything that we do. On that note, I would like to update you on our office protocols, and the steps we are taking to ensure that our patients and team remain safe and healthy.
While we have always met and exceeded all OSHA and CDC protocols and will continue to do so, I have also installed medical grade, state of the art, low energy plasma air purifiers in each operatory. UV light sanitation will be utilized for whole room sterilization prior to you being seen. In addition you will find HEPA air purifiers in our lobby, business area and hallway. I have also fabricated and installed plexiglass sneeze guards at OSHA’S recommendation around the business area.
Prior to your visit, you will be required to complete a health questionnaire to ensure that we can honor your appointment. This will be sent and submitted via text. If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms, we will ask you to cancel and reschedule your appointment. If you are healthy, there is no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment.
When you arrive for your appointment please stay in your car. CALL or TEXT 630-469-9515 to check in for your appointment. We will then direct you on when enter the office. Please be sure you enter wearing your own mask. Once seated, you will be asked to rinse with a solution that will minimize viral load count in your mouth.
Hair covers, gowns, N95 masks, ASTM level 3 masks, and face shields are the new normal for our clinical team members. While you may not recognize us, it is still us underneath all of the new gear with smiling faces eager to greet you!
